Dubai diary

Hello to you all! πŸ™‚

I am back with a new travel post. I have finally put together photos from my recent trip to Dubai. My family and I travel to the United Arab Emirates a lot. For about the past 8 years we always fly with Emirates, we love them, their services are amazing and we never had any problem regarding the booking, the actual flight, the suitcases, anything. WeΒ flyΒ twice every year, usually in the fall when it starts to be miserable and cold in Prague and then after winter, just before spring starts. Those are the times that you can “stand” the heat in the UAE and I find that those are the nicest times of the year there. From October till March, it’s really beautiful. The summer season there is way too hot, it’s literally a sauna environment and it’s really gross to walk outside and feel the sweat everywhere! πŸ˜€ In the summer, we pick different travel destinations, mainlyΒ outside of Europe, but we do spend time cruising the Mediterrean sea, on a yacht in the South of France, in stunning Cannes. Cannes holds a special place in my heart because we’ve been spending many summers there in our summer house, but I will for sure do a special post about that! πŸ™‚

Anyway back to Dubai! This time we flew at the end of January and we tend to always stick with the same resort, we love the Kempinski! I really take the time in Dubai purely as myΒ lazy time, tanning, relaxing and shopping of course; however I always draw out time to do cardio and a good workout because you don’t want to change the schedule you’re used to (at least I don’t :)) If you’ve been to Dubai, you know that the shopping opportunities in the Dubai Mall areΒ like no other – unlimited. It is the world’s biggest shopping mall. You can find anything you want, in every variation ever madeΒ and every brand that exists. The Dubai Mall offers the impossible. There’s a zoo ( they also have penguins), giant aquarium ( you can dive with the many sharks sting rays), ice skating rink = everything. Find the map of the mall here! Because we’ve been to UAE many times, we saw everything there is to see more than once, (Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, Sheikh Zayed Mosque (probably one of the most incredible things I’ve ever seen)), the desert safari, old part of Abu Dhabi, the traditional souks (markets with domestic products), pretty much all of it.

I love the UAE, it’s a place very close to my heart as I was born in an Arabic country myself! It’s a place like no other and you really can do/experience beyond what you ever thought was possible. πŸ™‚ I hope you’ll like the photos!
