I’ve decided to start doing something new here on my blog. I thought about sharing a monthly random “diary” post with all the highlights of each month. It’s kind of a form of reflection, looking back what each month brought and took. Also, it is going to be just simple things such as food, ootds and just the most random stuff, including trips, new place I visit and so on from every month. Let me know if you are interested in these types of posts and what you’d like to see here on the blog! <3
Hello to you all! 🙂
I am back with a new travel post. I have finally put together photos from my recent trip to Dubai. My family and I travel to the United Arab Emirates a lot. For about the past 8 years we always fly with Emirates, we love them, their services are amazing and we never had any problem regarding the booking, the actual flight, the suitcases, anything. We fly twice every year, usually in the fall when it starts to be miserable and cold in Prague and then after winter, just before spring starts. Those are the times that you can “stand” the heat in the UAE and I find that those are the nicest times of the year there. From October till March, it’s really beautiful. The summer season there is way too hot, it’s literally a sauna environment and it’s really gross to walk outside and feel the sweat everywhere! 😀 In the summer, we pick different travel destinations, mainly outside of Europe, but we do spend time cruising the Mediterrean sea, on a yacht in the South of France, in stunning Cannes. Cannes holds a special place in my heart because we’ve been spending many summers there in our summer house, but I will for sure do a special post about that! 🙂
Anyway back to Dubai! This time we flew at the end of January and we tend to always stick with the same resort, we love the Kempinski! I really take the time in Dubai purely as my lazy time, tanning, relaxing and shopping of course; however I always draw out time to do cardio and a good workout because you don’t want to change the schedule you’re used to (at least I don’t :)) If you’ve been to Dubai, you know that the shopping opportunities in the Dubai Mall are like no other – unlimited. It is the world’s biggest shopping mall. You can find anything you want, in every variation ever made and every brand that exists. The Dubai Mall offers the impossible. There’s a zoo ( they also have penguins), giant aquarium ( you can dive with the many sharks sting rays), ice skating rink = everything. Find the map of the mall here! Because we’ve been to UAE many times, we saw everything there is to see more than once, (Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, Sheikh Zayed Mosque (probably one of the most incredible things I’ve ever seen)), the desert safari, old part of Abu Dhabi, the traditional souks (markets with domestic products), pretty much all of it.
I love the UAE, it’s a place very close to my heart as I was born in an Arabic country myself! It’s a place like no other and you really can do/experience beyond what you ever thought was possible. 🙂 I hope you’ll like the photos!
I am back with my second part of my Bali Diary! Yaaassss :))) Going through all these photos makes me want to go back there right now. Bali is an amazing place and I seriously can’t wait to go back and explore more of its beauty! These photos don’t do it justice…not even an attempt that’s close enough. I need to go back to Bali. It stole my heart, took my breath away. I fell in love with it and I don’t even know how it happened. I am forever grateful.
Anyway so in this part, I’ve put photos from the magical Tanah Lot Temple and from Seminyak. I’ve inserted links to both places, if you want to read more about them! The photos from Seminyak are from two separate days. The first time we went there, we went during the evening and the other time we went during the day. I hope you’re enjoying my travel posts, let me know what other posts you’d be interested in please! 🙂 The final third part will be on the resort, we stayed at. Stay tuned for that! 😉
