Hello lovelies! 🙂
I am back with another random post. June went by so fast, I feel like time flew by and I don’t even know how. Every time it’s nice and warm outside, days go by so much faster than when it’s cold and miserable. Do you also feel like that? I have no idea how it’s July already.. but they say time flies when you’re having fun so I guess that explains it all for me :)) 😛
Please let me know how your month of June was and if you got up to do anything fun! 🙂
I’ve decided to start doing something new here on my blog. I thought about sharing a monthly random “diary” post with all the highlights of each month. It’s kind of a form of reflection, looking back what each month brought and took. Also, it is going to be just simple things such as food, ootds and just the most random stuff, including trips, new place I visit and so on from every month. Let me know if you are interested in these types of posts and what you’d like to see here on the blog! <3
Good afternoon! 🙂
So the fall season has finally started and there is no better way to celebrate it than at a fashion event. I was kindly invited to attend the “Your Dreams Come True” fashion cocktail party at the Dolce & Gabbana store in Prague this Monday. This event was the only one I attended because I was
unfortunately either traveling or busy with university classes for the other ones 🙁
I was amazed by the whole A/W 2016 collection. All of it is fairytale themed so there are plenty of sparkles, beads, glitter on pretty much every piece of clothing and definitely the shoes!!! Oh my.. I fell in love with a couple of pieces already and I know I am going to go back there within the next week to pick up something. You cannot not be in love. I think that the Snow White was the main inspiration for the collection, at least takes on a big part of the line. You can for sure tell from the decor and set up of the store for this event – the most beautiful and also possibly widest mirror in the middle of the store as you walked in, with the text “Who is the most beautiful?” 🙂 Also the bright red and polished apples hanging on the tree that was set up by the entrance.
Most of all, I loved the dresses because they are made as princess dresses, with pearls, stunning jewels and sparkles. I saw a little Cinderella theme going there as well. It really brought an overall princess feel to the whole store and the music was just like from the Snow White story. The handbags were so cute. Honestly, I don’t know which one to pick because they are all so unique and stunning. They are all in pretty pastel colors which was also a nice contrast because majority of the clothing was black-based. The handbags have many different patterns and themes, many of them have flower prints, which I feel like D&G always has some kind of a flower print in every collection and manages so well to make them stand out every season. However, my personal favorites were those with nutcrackers on the front side. It’s so “Christmasy” and festive. Miss Sicily is a classic, and with this print over it, it looks truly amazing. The other two that were the same model, one in sugar pink and the other in peaceful blue with the rich gold detailing… and pearls. I think I’m clear about my choice. LOVE!
I really hope you’ll like the photos and this post. 🙂 Let me know <3 I had a really nice, fairytale moment by the mirror there and it was a beautiful event which I enjoyed with my dear, dear friend! 🙂
